Embark on an inspiring journey with our ‘Save the World’ themed STEAM and coding camp during the summer holidays. Kids will get hands-on with robotics, engineering projects, and coding all while making new friends.

Our summer camps feature two alternating weeks of activities, ensuring that children can join us for consecutive weeks without encountering repetition.

Camps run Monday-Friday, from 10:00-16:00, with complimentary early drop-off available from 9:30 to support working parents. We accept Childcare Vouchers!

Save the World Summer Camp

In our Save the World STEM & Coding camp this summer, students will explore topics like endangered species, reforestation, renewable energy and all things green.

At Cypher camps, your child will be surrounded by peers of their age group, while also having the opportunity to interact with younger and older campers. Our projects are tailored to different age groups and abilities. Younger children will explore block-based languages like Scratch, ScratchJr, and Blockly, while older kids delve into text-based languages such as JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript. Each hands-on project is adapted to challenge older campers with more complex tasks, providing multiple extensions for those campers who need a quicker, more advanced pace, while also supporting those beginners with less experience!

Our Cypher Coders camp teachers are not only enhanced DBS checked and experienced with children but also passionate about STEAM subjects. They have all undergone specialised camp training, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure your child has the best possible camp experience this summer! Join us for a summer of growth, exploration, and unforgettable memories.

In the afternoon, campers will be given an environmentally themed STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activity, this will vary from day-to-day and will have them working in small teams or independently to create a variety of projects.

    14:15 Break

Afternoon break time with a chance to stretch their legs and have a short run around the playground. • Students do not need to bring their own laptops. All computers, robots and teaching materials are provided by Cypher. However, if students would like to bring their own laptop that’s fine. Please make sure and let us know at check-in that they have done so. We will take every care to ensure the safety of your child's device, however we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused at camp.

  • Cypher does not provide lunch at camps. We ask that you please pack a nut-free healthy lunch for your child.

Cypher provides healthy snacks for both the morning and afternoon breaks, as well as water throughout the day.

If your child has any special dietary requirements or allergies, please provide details during booking or speak to a member of staff at check-in.

  • Yes.

Children of different ages will be in the same classroom, however, the will be given age-appropriate activities and grouped with others their own age during challenges.

That being said, if you have siblings attending, or friends, please make a note at booking if they would like to be grouped together and we will facilitate this!

  • Children at a Cypher camp will use a variety of different technology and platforms during camps. Often, children will use either Scratch, p5.js or CoSpaces to complete a stand-alone coding project. Usually, this will be a game or animation that is related to our theme.

Their STEAM projects vary a little more from day to day, but during a week at camp children will often build and program one of our robots (Wunderkinds, Lego robots), program and use a Micro:bit, create an electronics project, and use their creativity in a more craft, or art focused activity (e.g. designing and making a board game).

  • Before camps it is best to email Cypher at hi@cyphercoders.com, and someone will get back to you during normal working hours.

During camps, you can either email us for non-urgent enquiries, or call us on 020 3005 2862 if your question requires an immediate answer

  • We currently accept childcare vouchers from Sodexo, Edenred, and Computer Share. However, we are open to accepting from other providers too, please drop us an email to hi@cyphercodes.com if you would like to book.

We are working on accepting tax free childcare vouchers! Watch this space.

  • The ‘average’ cypher teacher has completed a degree in a STEM field, often Computer Science, and has experience working with children, either through extra curricular sessions or in a school setting.

Cypher camp teachers are our best teachers, and are well equipped to ensure both learn and fun happen!

“Our girls really loved the camp they attended in Notting Hill. They did lots of hands-on coding projects while actually having fun! Would highly recommend it!”
