In this Cypher Coders Club children will be learning to code using CoBlocks on the CoSpaces platform, which lets kids build their own 3D creations, animate them with code and explore them in Virtual or Augmented Reality!

CoSpaces promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills; creative teaching and learning and self-expression and collaboration. Children will be working through incrementally harder content each week with the guidance of our expert Cypher teachers, and by the end of the term will have the oppertunity to design and program their very own computer game in CoSpaces. This club is suitable for all abilities.

In this Cypher Coders Club we introduce students to text-based coding using the programming language, Python. Students will learn the basics of Python by using interactive coding platforms, which will allow kids to steadily build their confidence in the language.

Children will work through incrementally harder content through the term and with the guidance of our expert Cypher teachers they will finish the term with an understanding on the basic of Python, while also having built upon their computational thinking skills, such as loops, sequencing, syntax, problem solving and much more! This club is suitable for all abilities.
