• Welcome to the captivating world of the Cypher Coders Kilo Club, where students embark on a journey to grasp the fundamentals of computer programming through a blend of engaging Scratch projects. Kids will delve into the essentials, unraveling the mysteries of algorithms, sequences, and loops. From this solid foundation, students will then unleash their creativity, crafting their own unique stories and games through hands-on coding experiences. Get ready for an exciting exploration of the basics, as we empower young minds to become adept creators in the fascinating realm of computer programming!

  • Join the Cypher Coders Tera Coding Club for Autumn term 2024 and dive into advanced Python projects! Students will learn to create introductory projects using the fun turtle module, they'll move on to exploring random libraries and create interactive Python projects such as Connect 4 and Hangman! Kids will be coding on Trinket, why don't you ask them to log in and show you their work at home!

  • Lower KS2

In this term's Cypher Coders Mega Coding Club, children will learn how to code using the CoSpaces platform, which allows students to get really creative in an interactive 3D environment. Students will be able to add in hundreds of different characters and build anything their imagination desires. Alongside the creativity that CoSpaces allows, the students will be learning how to code each of the items in their games using CoBlocks (a language similar to that of Scratch). Something that might be cool to try at home - and so you can see the impressive things your child has been up to - is to download the CoSpaces app to your phone and (if you have one) put it in a VR headset - as CoSpaces allows users to explore their coded worlds through Virtual Reality headsets!

    Upper KS2

Join the Cypher Coders Giga Coding Club for Autumn term 2024 and dive into exciting Python projects! Students will learn to create spiral patterns and simple animated faces using the turtle module, generate creative titles with random combinations, and develop interactive stories by constructing sentences from user inputs. The club will also feature games like rock-paper-scissors and a simplified "Battleship" game, enhancing coding skills through fun and interactive challenges. Perfect for young coders eager to explore the world of Python programming!
