In this Cypher Coders KS 1 club, students will learn the basics of computer programming through a mixture of online and offline activities. Students will start with the very basics of learning about what algorithms, sequences and loops are, with the opportunity to complete simple code of their own creating unique stories and games!

In this club, we introduce students to text-based coding using JavaScript. Students learn to program by creating fun apps that work on computers and gadgets like phones and tablets. They will learn about coding fundamentals such as conditional logic, functions, loops, and operators while building visually exciting projects that keep them engaged throughout the term and excited to develop new projects each week.
